CARDIGAN IS THE VISION of Kate Jenkins.

Kate has spent the last 10 years selling designs to major fashion houses including Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan and Etro.

Cardigan was created in 2003, and a year later Kate was Joined in her Brighton workshop by her sister Helen.

Cardigan is a quirky take on flora and fauna, interpreted through knitted and crocheted accessories.

 Designer quote

Kate's inspiration comes from a childhood spent in the Welsh Valleys combined with her years of living in the cities of New York and London, along with influences from her travels to South East Asia and Europe. A contradictory mix of elegance and kitsch, Cardigan blends different textures, colours and hand crochet to produce coveted designs that are both innovative and luxurious.
